Detectives investigating the murder of a 25-year-old man have made a further arrest.
The victim, provisionally named as David Lawal, suffered stab wounds and was pronounced dead on Brandon Road just before 8pm on Thursday 3rd October.
In the early hours of this morning, a man aged in his 60s was arrested at a property in the town on suspicion of assisting an offender.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning and remains in custody.
Two men, aged 26 and 29, who were arrested in connection with the incident have been released under investigation, while a 17-year-old male has been bailed until 30th October while enquiries continue.
Another man, aged 48, who was arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article and Class A drugs has also been released under investigation.
