People across our region have come together in solidarity to applaud the efforts of the country's health workers in last night's 'Clap For Our Carers' tribute.
The two-minute clap took place at 8pm last night (26/03/20) and saw the general public take to their front doors, windows and balconies to acknowledge the efforts of our frontline health workers.
It saw some people show their appreciation through conventional clapping, while others banged pots and pans and some places even saw fireworks set off.
Many emergency services across the country also paid their respects to the work our health workers do.
