Les Poules à Colin to headline Head Out, Not Home Summer finale
Thursday, August 29th
To celebrate a fantastic summer of Head Out, Not Home early evening entertainment in the city, Les Poules à Colin will play for the first time in Norwich as part of the season finale.
This band of young Francophone musicians was raised on folk music, but their new sound, as heard on their brand-new album MOROSE, owes as much to shimmery indie pop as it does to deep tradition. With ethereal vocals that mask biting social commentary and lyrics from old songs, and the slap and thump of French-Canadian foot percussion (think of a grinding beat that lopes like a heartbeat), they've got an entirely fresh sound.
Come and see this exciting band play for the first time in our beautiful city of stories.
Price: Tickets are £11 and £8 for concessions
